I hope that you enjoy your Creole Designs products. All of my jewellery is made in my studio with great attention to detail. It is built to be worn and enjoyed.

On the off-chance that you are unhappy please contact with me as soon as possible at info@creoledesigns.com

My refund and exchange policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

The following goods are non-returnable:

Custom and made-to-order items

Earrings (due to hygiene)

Sale Items

Rings, Bangles & Bracelets that have been ordered by you in the wrong size

Redesigned Items

To complete your return, I require a receipt for proof of purchase and a Return Authorization. Please call 250-381-1105 or email info@creoledesigns.com for your Return Authorization.

Refunds will not be given if there are obvious signs of use.  Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error are not refundable. Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.

We will not cover any shipping costs on returns.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Repairs

I am happy to repair all products I have created. I offer a full repair, re-size, and re-finishing service for all my products. If your product is faulty due to my error I will repair it free of charge providing it is within 6 months of purchase and you have proof of receipt. General wear and tear, or any damage to the product on your behalf, is not covered. After 6 months, all repairs will be carried out for an appropriate charge. Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Creole Designs, 1164 Pembroke Street, Victoria, BC, V8T 1J5.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs and insurance are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping and insurance, if applicable, will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an expensive item I suggest you insure it.  I have no control of your item while it is in transit.

 

CUSTOM DESIGNS AND REDESIGNS

Deposits

There is a minimum $500 initial deposit due at the start of every custom or redesign project. This is non-refundable but is included within your final commission budget. This fee covers time to prepare the final detailed quote, research of source material and the initial set of hand design drawings or the first set of computer renders. For complex designs the fees may be higher for preparing the quote with time and weights to produce the design. A higher non-refundable deposit may be required for this time.

Upon completion of the initial hand-drawn designs or computer designs you will be invited to review them and have a second meeting to discuss ideas and receive the final quote. It may be necessary for a second set (or more) of design drawings. When these initial designs are signed off and the quote approved I require a non-refundable 50% deposit (minus your design deposit already paid) to start either the production of the project in the workshop or the working editions of the computer models. In addition, full payment must be made on all diamonds larger than 0.25 carat at the time of your authorization to proceed. Some coloured stones may also be subject to full payment in advance of commencement of work.

Once the piece is ready the remaining balance of the project will be due for payment and must clear through my account before the piece will be shipped or ready for pickup. The final item will not be released until payment has been received in full.

Shipping on all custom work is by Priority or FedEx and insurance will be added appropriately the value of the item.

CANCELLATIONS

A minimum $500 deposit is due at the start of every project. Should you, for some reason, change your mind at the end of the initial design phase this fee is non-refundable and covers time spent preparing quotes and the initial hand-drawn or computer designs.

If after the final approval of designs or working the final editions of the computer model and your 50% deposit has been paid, you no longer desire the piece I will be unable to refund the deposit to you, as work on the piece will be well under way, however it may be possible to alter the design at this stage to suit your preference. If you have paid in full for diamonds or coloured stones for your project they will be shipped to you and will be non-refundable.

Returns & Refunds

Custom items are non-refundable as they are made specifically for the client.

If there is a clear fault in the production of the piece then I will of course do my best to repair this free of charge.

All philanthropy pieces are final sale.

We ship across North America and over seas. Shipping rates are calculated after you have added items to your shopping cart and filled in the shipping address information.
